For all the busy moms out there, I feel your pain! I find that between my work and my boys and all of my projects, I rarely have time to kick back. But when I do, I like to relax the way most of us do: by watching TV or reading my favorite magazines.

I love “Dancing with the Stars” because I’m a closeted dancer. When I was little, I took jazz, tap and ballet. I performed in a whole bunch of recitals. When I was 16, my family moved to Miami from Massachusetts. But my mom allowed me to stay with my dance teacher for a little while so I could participate in my last recital in New England. I used to perform for my family, putting on little dance shows for my siblings. I made them watch me and then I tried to make money from them. I guess wanted to be a professional performer even as a kid! I also love watching morning shows. I like “Today,” and I’m big fan of “Live with Kelly and Michael.”

As for reading, I have to say I don’t have tons of time these days for books. But my boys love the “Knuffle Bunny” books, and we’ve read them together so many times that I think we may be on the verge of setting a world record. Ha!

I do love to read magazines. People Magazine has always been one of my favorites (so you can imagine how thrilled I was when I was asked to blog for People.com). I also love Marie Claire, and not just because that’s actually my mom’s name! It’s a magazine that is really for women. There’s not just fashion, but there’s also articles and features in there that are really interesting, uplifting and informative. I feel like I learn when I read that magazine.
